Product: HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer

I gave my older Envy 4520  printer to my husband. He had it connected to his computer with an Ethernet cord. It was working but now it is not and it keeps saying he is connected to instant ink, which it no longer is.  I am connected but on a newer hp printer. He cannot figure out how to get rid of that notice and make the printer work using only Ethernet cord.  I've looked at info at this site and so far it is not helpful.  What does he have to do to make it work?
