Try these steps:
Restore Default Settings:
- Access the printer’s menu on the control panel.
- Navigate to Setup > Tools > Restore Defaults. This will reset the settings on the printer to factory defaults, including any password settings.
Reconfigure Network Settings:
- After restoring defaults, you will need to reconnect your printer to the network.
- Use the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer’s control panel to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Reconfigure Scan to Email/Network Folder Settings:
- If you use features like scan to email or scan to a network folder, you might need to set these up again using the HP software on your computer.
