Hi @Esakkiraj,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reset the HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 printer to its factory settings and connect it to a new network, follow these steps.
Factory Reset
- Turn on the printer: Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Press and hold the Power button: Hold the Power button and the Cancel button simultaneously for about 5 seconds. This will restore the printer to its factory settings.
Connecting to a New Network
Download and Install HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device from HP's website, the Microsoft Store, Google Play, or the Apple App Store.
Open HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app and sign in or create an account if required.
Prepare the Printer for Network Setup:
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 3 seconds until the Wireless light starts blinking. This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.
Add the Printer in HP Smart App:
- In the HP Smart app, click on the plus sign (+) or “Add Printer”. The app will search for printers in setup mode.
Select the Printer and Follow On-Screen Instructions:
- Select your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
Complete the Setup:
- Once the printer connects to the new network, the Wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and remain solid. The HP Smart app will confirm the connection.
By following these steps, you should be able to reset your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 to factory settings and connect it to a new network successfully.
I hope this helps.
