Envy 5530
macOS 10.12 Sierra

hello there,

first I have to say that I have updated my mac OS system recently, so this issue may be linked to it.

Thing is I cannot get scans from my laptop anymore. If I open the HP Utility app, it says that the status of my printer is "inactive" and that it is impossible to active the scan mode cause the app can't find the necessary scan software in the mac. I've downloaded the most recent version of the app for my printer from the HP site, but even if it is written that it can work with macOS 10.12 Sierra, the most recent update is the support for OS Mavericks.

Hope the reason is not that HP hasn't released the Sierra support yet.

Thanks for your help.
