Setting up an HP printer on a computer running Microsoft Windows 11 can be done with the following steps:

Unbox and Turn On the Printer:

• Connect the printer to a power source and turn it on.
• Follow the instructions provided to load paper and install the ink or toner cartridges.

Install HP Software:

• Insert the HP printer software CD if available:
  • If the CD does not start automatically, click Start, click Run, and then browse to and double-click the SETUP.EXE file in the root directory of the CD.
• Alternatively, download the latest printer software and driver from the HP Support website.

Connect the Printer:

• For a USB Connection:
  1. After starting the software installer, follow the prompts until asked to connect the printer.
  2. Connect the printer to the computer using a USB cable.
  3. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
• For Network Connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet):
  1. Ensure the printer is connected to the network.
  2. During software installation, select the network option to connect the printer.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

Add the Printer:

• Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
• Click Add a Printer or Scanner.

Print a Test Page:

• After the installation, print a test page to ensure the printer is functioning correctly. This option is usually available at the end of the installation process.
