Hi @ACOOCA,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering a problem with your HP DeskJet 2622 All-In-One Printer setup. The red rectangle box you're referring to might be a mandatory field that requires specific information before you can proceed. Here are some general steps to troubleshoot and address the issue.

  • Check for Error Messages: Look for any error messages or instructions near the red box. This might provide more information about what is required or what the issue is.
  • Verify Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet, as some setup processes require an online connection to validate information or download necessary updates.
  • Review Documentation: Check the printer's manual or setup guide for information on the setup process. It should provide details on each step and what information is required.
  • Use the Right Browser: If you're setting up the printer through a web interface, try using a different web browser to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, browser compatibility can be a factor.
  • Update Firmware/Software: Make sure your printer's firmware and software are up-to-date. Visit the official HP support website to download and install the latest drivers and firmware for your printer model.
  • Restart the Setup Process: If you're stuck at a particular step, consider restarting the setup process from the beginning. This can sometimes clear any temporary glitches.

If you provide more details about the specific information being requested in the red box or any error messages you encounter, I may be able to offer more targeted assistance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
