HP Recommended

I bought an Hp printer for my father a couple of years ago. He has since passed away. I want to set up his printer with wifi at my house but it is already registered to him/his email. His email was through Xfinity. Since he passed I cancelled his Xfinity services and can no longer access his email. Can anyone please help. I paid $100 for this printer that has only been used a few times.
