The driver software says 'This update requires macOS version 15.0 or earlier.' while installing in my Apple Macbook m1. I am not able to install the printer driver therefore.

General information on MacOS failure
If your HP printer installation is failing on a Mac with an ARM64 processor (M1 chip), it's likely because the printer driver isn't compatible with the new architecture; check if the latest HP drivers specifically support ARM64 macOS, download them if available, and try installing again; if not, you might need to use a generic "PostScript" driver or contact HP support for further assistance |
What printer model are you working with?
You can also try these steps to set up an HP printer on a Mac:
Go to 123.hp.com on your Mac.
Search for your printer model in the search box.
If your printer is listed, select it and follow the instructions to download and install the software.
If your printer isn't listed, click My device is not listed or continue to the next step to find other options.
To add your printer to your list of available printers, go to the Apple menu, select System Settings, and then click Printers & Scanners in the sidebar.
If you don't see your printer listed, click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax button on the right
