Microsoft Windows XP

When I had my computer "repaired", the person removed my HP Solution Center software from my computer.  I want to reinstall it for Windows XP. Without it I can't scan with my deskjet 3050 all in one J610.

Where coul I to get it?

Thanks

Bea

At this writing, there is Full Feature Software for XP 32bit (through Windows 10):

HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer series - J610 Full Feature Software and Driver

If you are using a USB cable between the printer and the computer, disconnect the USB cable before installing the printer software.  Connect the cable when directed to do so (toward the end of the installation process).

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Yes, I can print, but not scan with my deskjet 3050 all in one j610.

When I press the scan button it seems that something is going to happen but suddenly says thet the time is over and need to be ordered from the computer or something like that.

I've been looking for "hp solution center" but I can't find it for windows xp... the same with HP Print & Scan Doctor.

Could you help me to find a solution?

Thanks

I am sorry that perhaps I did not make it clear:  The Solution Center is part of the Full Feature Software for the printer.

Assuming your XP is 32bit, the information in my first post provides the download page for the software.

The printer software can be downloaded and installed.

Solution Center (now called the Printer Assistant) is run on the computer.

Did you download-save-install the software?

After the software is installed, you should find a "Solution Center" / "Printer Assistant" shortcut icon on the Desktop named for the printer.

Double-click the printer shortcut to bring up the tools and options available for the printer.

OK..

I am not sure Print and Scan Doctor runs on XP, though I would think it might do so.

The Doctor:  HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows

If the printer software is installed,

If the scan does not work due to "time out", the problem might be a connection error.
