HP Deskjet 1200 Printer Series

I have been trying to wirelessly set up my HP Deskjet 1255 printer but every time I get to the page that says "Connecting to printer..." it loads for about three minutes then brings me back to the page before that which tells me to connect the USB to my computer and continue. I've tried unplugging the printer and plugging it back in, plugging in the USB cable only when it tells me to, restarting my computer and the restarting the wifi. I've also tried setting it up on both a Windows 10 computer and a Macbook Air but neither seem to be working for me. It doesn't work when I try setting it up with the USB or ethernet cables, either.

Try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

 

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
