Hi @TOM787,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To create a taskbar icon for your HP DeskJet 2132 printer on a Windows 10 (64-bit) system, you'll need to follow these steps:

Install HP Printer Software:

  • Ensure you have the HP printer software and drivers installed. You can download the latest software from the HP Support website.

Create a Desktop Shortcut:

  • Open the Start Menu.
  • Search for "HP DeskJet 2132" or the printer software installed.
  • Right-click on the application or software name and select "Open file location".
  • In the File Explorer window that opens, right-click on the executable file (usually ending in .exe) and select "Send to" > "Desktop (create shortcut)".

Pin to Taskbar:

  • Go to your desktop.
  • Locate the newly created shortcut for the HP DeskJet 2132 software.
  • Right-click on the shortcut and select "Pin to taskbar".

This will create a taskbar icon for your HP DeskJet 2132 printer, allowing you to easily access the printer software and settings directly from your taskbar.

If you want a more direct link to the printer settings or to print directly, you can create a shortcut that opens the "Devices and Printers" window:

Create Shortcut to Devices and Printers:

  • Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
  • Select "New" > "Shortcut".
  • In the location field, enter explorer.exe shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}.
  • Click "Next" and name the shortcut something like "Printers and Devices".
  • Click "Finish".

Pin to Taskbar:

  • Right-click on the new "Printers and Devices" shortcut on your desktop.
  • Select "Pin to taskbar".

This will give you quick access to your printer settings from the taskbar.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
