Dear HP, to perform the wireless setup, I am instructed to use the (old) CDrom provided, and unplug the USB cable. However the CDrom only seems to recognise older versions of Windows OS (pre Windows 10). Is there another way of performing the wireless setup, given that I do not possess a Window 10 CDrom installation disk?

Hi,

The original CD was made years before your operating system and therefore the error.

Download and install the latest software below to configure the wireless connection on a Windows 10 PC:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL30130/mp-109997-3/PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_WW_140_4...

I already downloaded that before hand, and installed before writing to you

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL30130/mp-109997-3/PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_WW_140_4...

however how do i then setup the wireless/wifi connection?    the manual asks to unplug the USB cable and insert the CDrom  - which is the old exe file presumably?

when I do unplug the cable, the printer is no longer connected.
