Hi @tlvs,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue you're experiencing with printing multiple photos on one page and encountering disappearing options that may be related to software compatibility or settings within the printer or photo management application. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

1. Use the Built-in Windows Photo Printing Wizard

Windows has a built-in photo printing wizard that makes it easy to print multiple photos on one page. Follow these steps:

  1. Select the photos you want to print in File Explorer.
  2. Right-click the selected photos and choose Print.
  3. In the Photo Printing Wizard, choose your printer and paper size.
  4. Select a layout (e.g., wallet-size, 4x6, etc.) that allows multiple images per page.
  5. Review the preview and click Print.

2. Check Printer Settings

  • Open the Devices and Printers section in Windows.
  • Right-click your printer and select Printing Preferences.
  • Look for an option related to "Layout" or "Pages per sheet" and set it to accommodate multiple photos.
  • Save the settings and try printing again.

3. Update the Printer Driver

  • Visit the HP Support page for your printer model.
  • Download and install the latest printer driver and software.
  • Restart your laptop after installation and try printing again.

4. Try HP Smart App

If you're using an HP printer, the HP Smart App might make it easier to print multiple photos on one page.

  • Download the app from the HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
  • Open the app, select your printer, and use the Photo Printing option to create layouts with multiple images.

5. Test with a Different Photo App

If the issue persists, the software you're using might be causing the problem. Try another app like:

  • Microsoft Photos: Select your photos, click Print, and choose a layout.
  • Picasa or another free photo management tool, which often includes easy printing layouts.

6. Clear Temporary Files and Reset Print Spooler

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Stop.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete any files in this folder.
  • Return to the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.

7. Try a Different File Format

If you're printing from an uncommon file format, convert the photos to standard formats like JPEG or PNG.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
