Hi @Wacko525

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That info page popping out every time can be a bit much, right? Let’s help your printer keep things quiet and skip the extra sheet.

If your HP printer is automatically printing an information page every time it powers on or after certain jobs, you can disable this feature through the printer settings. Here’s how you can turn off this feature:

Access the Printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  • Find the printer's IP address via the front panel or by printing a network configuration page.
  • Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address to access the Embedded Web Server.

Disable Information Page Printing:

  • Once logged into the EWS, navigate to the settings or configuration tab.
  • Look for options related to “Reports” or “Usage Information.”
  • Disable or turn off the option to automatically print information pages.

Using Printer Software Tools:

  • If available, use the HP Printer Assistant or HP Smart app on your computer.
  • Navigate to printer settings or preferences.
  • Find and disable the information page printing setting.

Through Printer Control Panel:

  • Depending on your printer model, you may also adjust settings directly from the control panel.
  • Look for menu options related to “Reports” or “Preferences” and disable any automatic printing options for information pages.

For specific instructions tailored to your printer model, refer to your printer's user guide or check the HP Support website for further assistance.
