Hi @Srivathsan_J,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP DeskJet 3630 printer when trying to print via Wi-Fi from your Samsung phone, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Make sure that both your printer and your Samsung phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check if other devices can connect to the Wi-Fi network successfully.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both your printer and your Samsung phone. This can often resolve temporary connectivity issues.
Printer Connection Status:
- Print a network configuration or status page from your printer to verify its connection status. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
Reinstall Printer App:
- Uninstall the HP Smart app on your Samsung phone and reinstall it from the app store. This can help resolve any app-related issues.
Check Printer Queue:
- If there are any pending print jobs in the printer queue, try canceling them and then attempt to print again.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
Forget and Reconnect Wi-Fi:
- On your printer, forget the current Wi-Fi network and reconnect to it. Follow the printer's manual for instructions.
- On your Samsung phone, forget the Wi-Fi network and reconnect to it.
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the printer is set to "Online" or "Ready" status. Check for any error messages on the printer's display.
Firewall/Antivirus:
- Disable firewall or antivirus temporarily on your phone to see if it's causing the connectivity issue.
Mobile Data:
- Ensure that your Samsung phone's mobile data is turned off when attempting to print via Wi-Fi.
Printer IP Address:
- Manually set a static IP address for your printer. Consult your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
Remember to consult your printer's manual for model-specific instructions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
