I have a new HP ENVY Inspire and i reach the point where the HP east start starts to install but when I try to login ( created a password already) it comes back with an error message. I have the spinning circle running on the easy start window and nothing is happening.

@MTW62, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Easy Start!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It seems like you are experiencing difficulties with the HP Easy Start installation process on your HP ENVY Inspire. Below are some steps that you can follow to troubleshoot and address the issue:
Check Internet Connection: Make sure your computer has a stable internet connection as the installation process may require access to online resources.
Verify Login Credentials: Ensure that you are entering the correct username and password if prompted to log in during the installation process. Verify that your password meets any requirements specified, such as length or character type.
Restart Application: Close the HP Easy Start application and restart it. Sometimes, this can resolve temporary glitches.
System Reboot: Restart your computer to clear any temporary cache or running processes that may be causing a conflict with the installation.
Disable Firewall/Antivirus Temporarily: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus settings can block parts of the installation process. Try temporarily disabling them to see if it resolves the issue. Ensure that you re-enable these protections after the installation is complete.
Clear Cache and Cookies: If the installation process involves a browser, clearing cache and cookies may help resolve the issue.
Re-download Installer: There might be a corruption in the download. Try to re-download the HP Easy Start installer directly from HP's official website.
Run as Administrator: Right-click on the HP Easy Start installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to avoid permission issues during installation.
Check for Software Updates: Ensure your operating system and current drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes, out-of-date software can lead to installation issues.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
