Hi @Teddyson2019

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e screen has shifted to a "Send and Receive" mode, which might be related to fax functionality or a firmware update.

Here are some steps to address this:

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Visit the HP Support website to ensure your printer has the latest firmware. Firmware updates can sometimes change the interface or add new features.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on to see if the screen reverts to its normal state.

Verify Fax Settings:

  • If the "Send and Receive" screen is related to fax functionality, check the printer's settings to ensure it's configured correctly. You can access these settings through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • On your macOS Big Sur device, uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app. This can help synchronize the app with your printer and resolve any interface issues.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
