We have hard wired our internet because we don't want toxic wifi buzzing round are heads all day now the desktop won't work even though it's hard wired to the computer. Can you not use this printer without it being on wifi?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-deskjet-3700-all-in-one-printer-series...

 

Select the USB connection.  You may need to purchase the USB cable separately.

 

Do not plug in USB cable until prompted by the software!


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan with the USB cable.
