hi everyone

I need help finding a setting for my RSVP cards for my daughters wedding and also her invite card.

sizes. Is there a special place to find these to print directly without using a label?

RSVP is 14.5 cm x 11 cm or 4.5 inches x 5.75 inches wide

Invite envelope is 22 cm wide x 14.5 cm tall or 8.5 inch wide x 5.75 inch tall

Your post did not capture your Printer Model and Operating System/version.

-- Based on what we know --

Some, though not all, printer software supports Custom Paper Size forms.

Some printers include a "Custom" paper size designation either on the Printer Control Panel or using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust the paper size (Tray and Paper).

 The following is necessarily generic and does not include "everything".

The information might be enough to set you in the right direction.

==========================

Load Paper / Load Media

Load the paper / envelopes according to the instructions in the user guide:

==========================

EWS - Tray and Paper

EWS > HP Document / How-to (InkJet Printers – Basic Information)

 Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

OR

 HP Laser Printers - Using the Printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

-------------------------------------------

Classic EWS - InkJet Printers / Select other printers

-- Reminder --

If asked enter the printer’s PIN number –

The default PIN might be located on the back or inside the printer (ink access area).

See your printer's user guide for additional information.

Open your Browser

Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model and EWS version Dependent Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

OR

Alternate EWS format - Select newer InkJet printers and select LaserJet printers

-- Reminder --

If asked enter the printer’s PIN number –

The default PIN might be located on the back or inside the printer (ink access area).

See your printer's user guide for additional information.

Open your Browser

Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Paper > Trays > Select Tray(s) to configure

Next (as available)

===========================

Print Envelopes

Envelopes can be of a supported standard size or - if / as supported on the printer model -- a Custom size within the range of "custom sizes" supported by the printer.

Contributing factors include:

  • Plain paper
  • No scallops, exposed metal clips
  • No foil lined
  • White or cream color is best
  • Windows -- Word > Mailing > Envelopes printing requires the full driver printer software to have been installed to gain access to the full range of Printing Preferences
  • Windows - Custom Paper Size Form -- If /  As needed
  • Windows -- Printer Properties > Tab Advanced > Driver should be selected as the installed HP driver and NOT the Microsoft / IPP driver
  • Create Envelope - Setup

Example - Word > Mailings > Envelopes
