I am interested in the HP Envy 100.

But I know that there are also HP Envy 110 and 120 and maybe some others.

1. Which one is better, what is the difference?

2. What other similar printers are there? Maybe 140 for example.

Thanks

Hi

I provided you with the previous guide because I stated that I was going to purchase the HP ENVY100 printer. I also leave you the link for the HP ENVY120 so you can learn more about them.

HP ENVY 120 e-All-in-One Printer series

I hope the above is helpful. If I've answered your questions, I'd appreciate it if you could mark the post as solved.

Hi Artsem

Differences between HP Envy 100, 110, and 120

  1. HP Envy 100: A compact multifunction printer with an elegant design. It offers wireless printing and a touch screen but has slower printing speeds compared to newer models.

  2. HP Envy 110: Similar to the 100 but improved with faster printing speeds and a more advanced touch screen. It also includes double-sided printing capabilities.

  3. HP Envy 120: This model features a modern design and advanced features like automatic double-sided printing, a larger touch screen, and compatibility with Apple AirPrint.

Similar printers

If you're considering alternatives, here are some options:

  • HP Smart Tank 5000: Offers higher printing capacity and resolution compared to the HP Envy 120.

  • HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf: Great for those who need a laser printer with faster printing speeds and larger paper capacity.

you can choose the one that best suits your needs taking into account if there is a stock of the respective consumables in your country, I would recommend a printer from the most current HP line.

I hope the above is helpful!

Hi Artsem

Of course! Here are the answers:

1. The HP Envy 100 does have duplex printing capability. This can be done automatically, as long as the paper and settings allow it.

2. Automatic double-sided printing, also known as automatic duplexing, is a feature where the printer prints on both sides of a sheet without requiring the user to manually flip the paper. This is achieved through an internal mechanism that reverses the paper automatically.

3. The ink cartridges for the HP Envy 100 printer are usually from the HP 60 series. There are two main types:

  • HP 60 Black (for text and black-and-white graphics).
  • HP 60 Tri-color (for color printing).

I hope the above is helpful!

in this sense are 100 and 120 different?

in case of 100 will I have to bother with some settings constantly?

Hi Artsem

You don't need to change printer settings all the time. Once it's set up for double-sided printing (or however you prefer), that option is saved as the default. It's like when you adjust the car seat: you don't need to move it every time you get in, unless someone else has changed it. As long as no one changes those options, everything should work the same every time you print.

I hope the above is helpful

so the Envy 100 (in comparison with 110 and 120) only loses in the size of the touchscreen, in the printing speed and in the fact that there is no Apple AirPrint technology? Ok.

I heard that the printer needs to be turned on periodically.

When turned on, the writing head self-cleans.

How often should the printer be turned on? Once a month? Or twice a month?

I would like to turn it on as rarely as possible.

P.S. there are 121 cartridges there

I heard that there are printers with a continuous ink supply system, they have refillable cartridges.

This is not such a printer?

And what printer should I consider? The closest one.

Hi Artsem

The cartridge number indicated on the label refers to the number with which you can purchase it according to the region where you are located. Here you can verify what I indicated:

Regarding, the Envy 120 is a slightly more advanced version of the Envy 100. Key differences include:

- Automatic duplex printing: The Envy 120 can automatically print on both sides of the paper, saving paper.
- Paper trays: The Envy 120 has auto-extending input and output trays, making it easier to use and store.
- Thicker paper support: The Envy 120 can print on heavier paper.
- Display: The Envy 120 has a larger color touchscreen.

Both printers share a sleek design, wireless printing capabilities, and mobile printing features. Choosing between them will depend on whether automatic duplex printing and more convenient paper trays are important to your needs.

I hope the above is helpful
