I see previous questions to this problem but no solution
Can anyone help please
I have a new printer but every setting for 7 x 5 in photo (gloss photo paper) gives a 4-5 mm white margin along the 5 in border

Hi @FlyingDoc,
Thank you for the response.
Try these steps:
Check Paper Size Settings: Ensure that you're selecting the correct paper size in the printing preferences. Make sure it matches the actual photo paper size you're using.
Adjust Borderless Printing: If your printer supports borderless printing, verify that this option is selected. You can find this setting in the printer preferences under print settings.
Check Printer Alignment: It's possible that the printhead alignment is off, which can result in white margins on printouts. Use the printer's maintenance settings to perform a printhead alignment.
Inspect Paper Feed: Ensure the photo paper is correctly loaded in the paper tray. Misalignment during loading can cause printing errors.
Update Printer Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes outdated drivers cause printing issues.
Use Recommended Photo Paper: Ensure you're using photo paper recommended by HP, as incompatible paper can lead to print quality issues.
Check Print Margins: If print margins are adjustable in your printer settings, set them to zero for borderless prints if applicable.
I hope this helps.
