Hi @ughEnvy6152e,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Envy 6152e printer is repeatedly prompting you to press "OK" to print each time, it may be due to specific settings or conditions that require acknowledgment before proceeding. Here are potential reasons and solutions:

Paper Mismatch:

  • The prompt might indicate a paper size or type mismatch. Verify that the paper size and type set in the printer settings match what is loaded in the tray.

Low Ink Alerts:

  • If your printer detects low ink levels, it might request acknowledgment before printing. Check the ink cartridges and replace any that are low or empty.

Firmware Settings:

  • Some printers are configured to require confirmation before printing. Check for any firmware updates on the HP support page, as updates might resolve such prompts.

Printer Settings:

  • Navigate to the printer's settings menu and look for options related to alerts or confirmations. You may find an option to disable prompts.

Error Messages:

  • Ensure no error messages or warnings are displayed on the printer's screen. Errors could trigger the requirement for manual confirmation.

Check Print Settings:

  • If using the HP Smart app or other software, confirm that the print settings do not include a manual "OK to Print" setting.

I hope this helps.
