deskjet 6940
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have changed to Windows 10 - my Deskjet 6940 and Officejet 4500 no longer print in color.  Any tips would be MOST appreciated!

Both printers used lightly and seasonly, have never had a problem.

Hello @judykayt,

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that since upgrading to Windows 10, both printers will not print in color. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

If you didn't fully uninstall the driver and reinstall it, I would suggest starting there first. Here is the document for installing the latest built-in Windows 10 drivers for the Deskjet 6940: Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver.

Here is the link for the Officejet 4500 drivers and software: OJ_AIO_4500_G510n-z_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.exe

If you are still having issues, please try the steps in this document for missing colors: Missing, Faded, or Dull Colors. Let me know the results of the Diagnostics page.

Please click the "Thumbs Up" to thank me for my efforts! If this helps you to resolve the issue you are experiencing, please click the "Accept as Solution". Keep me posted. Good Luck!
