I am helping my mom on her Windows XP Toshiba computer and trying to install HP Deskjet Plus 4152 printer but do NOT have the CD at this time. I need the drivers but on the HP website it doesn't have the drivers for an XP OS. Can you help me? Or do I have to keep searching for the CD, and even if I do find it, will this printer be compatible with the Toshiba Windows XP OS?

Hi @Jennimarcy,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are looking to download drivers for your HP DeskJet Plus 4152 All-in-One Printer to work on the Windows XP Operating system. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Microsoft has already stopped support for Windows XP since 2014 and HP also does not have any printer drivers for Windows XP. However, you may add the printer directly using Microsoft printer drivers and it will work.
Make sure the printer is connected to the network and make a note of the printer's IP Address. To get the IP address, press and hold the information button for 3 seconds.
The printer will print the network configuration report which will have the printer's IP address if it is connected to your Wi-Fi.
Please follow the steps:
- Go to Start -> Printers and Faxes
- Under Printer Tasks click Add a printer
- At the Welcome to Add Printer Wizard click Next
- Choose Local Printer attached to this computer
- Uncheck Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play Printer
- Click Next
- Choose Create a new port
- Select Standard TCP/IP Port from the drop-down list
- Click Next
- At the Welcome to the Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard click Next
- Enter the printer IP address found on the brightly colored sticker on the printer
- Click Next
- Click Finish – which will return to the Add Printer Wizard
- On the left-hand side choose the appropriate manufacturer
- On the right-hand side choose the appropriate printer driver
- Click Next
- Enter a printer name
- Choose whether or not to set as the default printer
- Click Next
- Choose Do Not Share this Printer
- Click Next
- Choose Yes at the Print Test Page question
- Click Next
- Click Finish
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
