My HP Officejet Pro 8620 has been working perfectly until recently when web servives can no longer be enabled. I have tried numerous solutions found on here but none work but the printer is effectivly redundant at present. I have tried logging in via the IP address and restarting, enabling web services etc etc, but nothing works. I have tried resetting networks - the printer is needed for work. It was bought in 2016. I will try and contact HP but today they are closed. Thanks

Update the printer firmware
HP regularly releases new printer firmware versions with product enhancements or issue fixes. Depending on your printer, apps on the printer control panel might also receive updates. Update firmware and apps on a regular basis to make sure you are getting the most out of your printer. Download and install the update from here. Refer to this document for help.
Assign a manual IP to the printer
Once you are up-to-date with the firmware, please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.
For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.
If you still have issues, the only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Cheers 🙂
