Operating system: Ubuntu 18.04
HPLIP version: 3.18.10
Hello support community,
When I try to print a page, the green lamp of the printer starts blinking, the job goes into the 'printing' status and after a few secunds to the 'stopped' status.
Background:
I recetly upgraded my OS from Ubuntu 16.04 (where the printer was still working) to Ubuntu 18.04.
Then I installed the latest HPLIP version automatically , also reinstalling the hp-plugin.
At this point the issue appeard and I started looking for a solution.
I run the HPLIP Driver Diagnose, which found access permission problems with /etc/cups/ppd/HP-LaserJet-Professional-P-1102w.ppd (the owner was root). Therefore I changed the permission of the file to user (me). This didn't solve my issue, but the HPLIP Driver Diagnose is now running without finding any further issues and I don't have any more ideas how to fix the problem.
Any help is very much appreciated! 🙂
The current output of the HPLIP Driver Diagnose

Solved the issue by myself:
1. Removed hplip completely:
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip sudo rm -rf /etc/hp sudo rm -rf ~/.hplip sudo rm -rf /var/lib/hp
2. Downloaded an older version, namely hplip-3.18.6.run from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/hplip/files/hplip/
3. Installed it:
Switch to the directory with the downloaded file:
cd ...
Make the file executable:
chmod +x hplip-3.18.6.run
Execute:
./hplip-3.18.6.run
Follow the steps.
4. Install the hp-plugin if it is not installed after the above steps:
hp-plugin
Follow the steps.

During step 3:
Unable to recieve key from keyserver
Without this, it is not possible to authenticate and validate the plug-in prior to installation.
Do you still want to install the plug-in?
Yes
Plug-in install failed.
error: Pthon gobject/dbus may be not installed
error: The device you are trying to setup requires a binary plug-in. Some functionalities may not work as expected without plug-ins. Please run 'hp-plugin' as normal user to install plug-ins. Visit http://hplipopensource.com for more infomation.
That brings me back to "Driver Plug-in Installation".

Thanks you !!!
I tried several solutions and HPLIP versions, but this was the only that worked for me (Ubuntu 18.04 and HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw).
