Good afternoon, I have a problem with my HP 9010 series printer. I have set it up for printing over wifi, but when I send files to the printer, it says that the file has been sent to print, but the printer's display shows that the print is in progress, and the hp mobile app shows that the print is blocked. I have already changed the wifi frequency to 2.4 GHz, but it didn't work. I have also reset the printer and reconfigured it, but it still doesn't work. I have tried connecting to the printer via Wifi Direct, but it still shows that the print is in progress. It only prints a test page. And the trick is that if you send a print status about the printer's wireless connection, whether from the app or from the printer itself, the print will also be queued and will take up space. For non-native cartridges, the printer's settings show exclamation marks, and when you send a print, the printer doesn't complain about the non-native cartridges.

Hi @Denis108

Thanks for getting back to us and posting in English.

I can feel how frustrating this must be—especially when the printer appears connected, acknowledges the job, but never actually prints.

Let’s walk through a focused set of steps to help break through this blockage and restore wireless printing:

1. Clear the Print Queue and Restart Services

  • On your PC, press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Locate Print Spooler, right-click → Stop.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files inside.
  • Go back to services.msc, right-click Print SpoolerStart.

This clears any stuck jobs that may be jamming the pipeline.

2. Assign a Static IP to the Printer

Dynamic IP changes can confuse the connection:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SettingsNetwork SetupWireless SettingsAdvanced SettingsIP Settings.
  • Choose Manual IP and assign a static IP (e.g., 192.168.1.250).
  • Save and restart the printer.

You can now use this IP to print directly or access the Embedded Web Server.

3. Access Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Open a browser and enter the printer’s IP.
  • Go to SettingsSecurityFirewall and ensure it’s disabled.
  • Under Network Settings, confirm Wi-Fi Direct and Wireless are both active.

HP’s guide for EWS access is here.

4. Reinstall the Full Driver Suite

Even if the printer is detected, the driver may be misconfigured:

  • Visit the HP 9010 Series Driver Page.
  • Download the Full Feature Software and Driver for Windows.
  • Uninstall any existing HP software, then reinstall using the new package.

5. Check Cartridge Recognition

Exclamation marks on non-native cartridges may interfere with job processing—even if no error is shown:

  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges.
  • Clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
  • If possible, test with genuine HP cartridges to rule out firmware-level blocking.

6.  Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool (Windows)

  • In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
You can also access this tool on HP’s support page if needed.

You're doing everything right—we’ll get this sorted.
