@tharwani, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to use the printer and the power light is blinking. It means the printer is too hot to continue printing. Wait for 3 to 15 minutes for the printer to cool. Printing resumes automatically when cooling is complete.
For more info on this issue, refer to - Blinking Lights
If the light does not stop blinking, reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks for replying. Resetting the printer didn’t do anything. Printer is connected directly to a wall socket. I don’t think the printer is too hot, the power plug was removed for a full day and power light is still blinking afterwards. There is no sign of the printer initializing when connected. It just blinks.
How do I start a warranty claim? There seems no option on my dashboard to start a claim. The product is under warranty.

In this case, I'm afraid this could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
