I am trying to connect my MFP 179fnw on my local Wi-Fi, and the password contains an Exclamation mark “!”.
I tried reviews tags on the HP support, including pressing the star “*” button but the “!” does not appear.
could you please help?

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw Printer. wanted to use the Exclamation mark “!”.Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's try resetting the printer and check once
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Follow the below instructions -
1 Select the (Menu) > Network > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Settings button on the control panel. Or, Press the (Wireless), access to the Wi-Fi menu.
2 Press the OK to select the setup method you want.
• Wizard > Search List (recommended): In this mode, the setup is automatic. The machine will display a list of available networks from which to choose. After a network is chosen then printer will prompt for the corresponding security key.
• Custom: In this mode, users can give or edit manually their own SSID, or choose the security option in detail.
3 Follow the instructions to set up the wireless network.
