macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have an HP Envy printer and a new MacBook Pro, running Mac OS Monterey. My MacBook is unable to print using the Envy,

  • It is attached to the same Wifi network
  • I can print to it using this network from iphone and Android phones
  • I have tried resetting the print system and reinstalling, but MacBook insists printer is offline (it isn't) and so fails to install
  • HP Utility fails to connect to the device
  • HP Smart just crashes!
  • Unable to connect using IP address
  • Have rebooted MAcBook and printer 

Anyone any suggestions?

To reply to my own post, a rest of the router finally did the trick.
