Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to load installation software for a HP 6830. It is running quite happily on my first pc over my wifi network, but when I try and install the software on my laptop, it cannot locate the printer. The laptop is connected to the internet via a sky router

When I run the SKY broad band  diagnostic it sees both the printer and the laptop as connected devices. I

have tried temporarily disabling my firewall to no effect.

Any suggestions please?

Working now,

it appears that despite the printer working happily to the first pc, it is necessary prior to  installing on my laptop to pull the printer power cord and turn the printer back on for it to register on my laptop as the printer to install.

It failed once again, but on a second attempt it worked.

Lots of trials and lots of head scratching but everything is working. (Until the next windows upgrade)
