HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One Printer

I changed the color ink cartridge and the printer has not been able to connect to printer since. I have turned printer, router, and modem off and on multiple times hoping a reset would work. wifi button just keeps blinking.

@mike2236, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One Printer connection issue

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 is having trouble reconnecting to Wi-Fi after replacing the color ink cartridge. The blinking Wi-Fi light indicates that the printer is not connected to a network. Here are some steps to resolve the issue:

Restart Everything Again (in Order)

  1. Turn off your printer, router, and computer.
  2. Wait 60 seconds, then turn on the router and wait for it to fully initialize.
  3. Turn on your computer.
  4. Turn on the printer.

Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  1. Press and hold the Wireless (Wi-Fi) button and the Cancel (X) button on the printer for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
  2. This resets the network settings and puts the printer in setup mode.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

If using HP Smart App:

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your computer or phone.
  2. Click Add a Printer and follow the prompts to reconnect.

If using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer until it starts blinking faster.
  2. Press the WPS button on your router and wait for the connection to establish.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Go to HP Software & Driver Downloads and install any firmware updates available for your printer.

If the issue persists, let me know what happens after trying these steps! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
