Hi @Tmins,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, but let's see if we can find a solution together. Here are some additional steps you can try.
- Check Network Settings: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that the printer is within range. You may need to restart your router or check its settings to make sure it's compatible with your printer.
- Reconfigure Wi-Fi: Try reconfiguring the Wi-Fi settings on your printer. You can usually do this through the printer's control panel. Look for the Wi-Fi setup option and follow the prompts to reconnect to your network.
- Reset Network Settings: Sometimes resetting the network settings on the printer can resolve connectivity issues. Look for a "Network Settings" or "Reset Network" option in the printer's menu and follow the instructions to reset the network settings.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve overall performance.
- Check Ink Cartridges: Since you mentioned the ink light is flashing amber, it's worth checking the ink cartridges. Make sure they are properly installed and that there are no errors or warnings indicating a problem with the ink cartridges.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
