HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

I installed my 4155e but after 5 mins it goes off line.  Power light stays on WiFi still lit but can’t  find printer in network and printer is frozen n can’t power off must unplug to reset and then it starts all over again. What’s going on and how do I fix this.

Hi @RonH10 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing some frustrating issues with your printers. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to address the problems:

  • Check Power Supply: Ensure that the printer is plugged into a stable power source and that there are no issues with the power outlet or cable. Sometimes unstable power can cause devices to freeze or go offline.
  • Update Firmware: Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Manufacturers often release firmware updates to address known issues and improve performance. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check Wi-Fi Connection: Verify that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the signal strength is sufficient. Weak or intermittent Wi-Fi connections can cause printers to go offline or freeze.
  • Restart Router: Sometimes, the issue may be with the router rather than the printer. Try restarting your router to see if it resolves the connectivity issues.
  • Reset Printer: If the problem persists, try performing a factory reset on your printer. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this, as the process can vary depending on the model.
  • Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no sources of interference near your printer that could disrupt the Wi-Fi signal, such as other electronic devices or metal objects.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for taking time to reply. I appreciate it very much. so I did update the firmware on the printer that did not help. Checked connections WiFi router all is good.
if I unplug it it restarts and all is fine until after about 5 mins and then it should go to sleep but it just goes offline and the bottoms freeze. Have to unplug again and start again.
I tried to pursuit and direct connected to my pc via us. Cable but same thing after approx 5 mins it goes off line and all buttons are frozen

it’s just so into have unplug and plug back in and wait for it to re start. Hp can’t seem to help either without charros fee.
