Hi @Lhunt11, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the duplex (double-sided) printing setting might have been lost when you reconnected the printer. Here’s how to fix it:
1. Check Printer Settings in Windows
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on HP Envy 6155e and select Printer Properties.
- Go to the Device Settings tab.
- Look for Duplex Unit or Double-sided Printing and ensure it is set to Installed.
- Click OK and restart your PC.
2. Check Print Preferences
- Press Ctrl + P in any document to open the print dialog.
- Select your HP Envy 6155e.
- Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Look for Print on both sides or Duplex printing and enable it.
- Click OK and try printing.
3. Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Uninstall the printer from Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Download the latest full feature driver from the HP support website.
- Install it using USB or Wi-Fi, ensuring the HP Smart App is also installed.
- During installation, look for an option to enable duplex printing.
4. Reset the Printer
- Turn the printer off, unplug it, and wait 1-2 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- Try printing again to see if duplex printing is available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
