HI,  My printer was about 18 months new and I don't use it too often and Had only replaced the black in about 3 months ago and the printer suddenly said it was out of ink.  I knew it was not the black but I hardly print in color, but I went ahead and put in the three new color cartridges, still kept getting the error.  I tried everything recommended on the HP help sites over a 6-7 day period.  Then I did a reset.   Still same message.  And now the digital touch display does not respond to touch and does not allow access to any set up options or to anything at all inthe control panel.  I needed to scan a doc and I tried accessing the printer from the smart app to start the scan and this does not work.  Today I removed the printer from my laptop and tried to re-add it and the windows 10 pc has trouble finding the printer.  I finally got the PC to locate the printer and I tried to add it, and when I type in the PIN as instructed, it fails and can not add the printer!  The pin does not work so now, I can not even add the printer!

SO I paid $339 for the printer, and $95 for the first set of ink and I never even got to use the color ink, and there is still loads of black in in the cartridge and the printer will not print and I can not access it to scan and the pin number on the machine does not work when I try to start fresh and add it to the PC!  I had to delete it and re-add it because we got a new wireless nw and I wanted to try to get the printer set to the new wifi, but I could not do this at ll thru the digital control panel.  I have been completely ripped off.  It was never even out of HP ink and now i can't even use it to scan or for any purpose at all!  I need a total restore or reset !??  It seems like it got a software glitch after i followed the HP instructions for a restore. ?
