Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer and printers have been working for at least the last 8 years. I printed from my iPhone 2 days ago and now I cannot print from windows 10. I have reinstalled both printers (LaserJet Pro M201dw and LaserJet Pro 400 Color M541dn) and associated drivers.

I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.7.4 on both printers. It reported a Wrong Port which it corrected. Still no printing from Windows.

I also have an HP Officejet 4500 that I use only for scanning (no ink cartridges installed.) I am able to scan documents from it.

I have rebooted many times, reset the router, and reset all network switches. I can ping both printers from a Command Prompt.

The print jobs appear in the print queues. The HP Printer Status and Alerts application only shows the color printer and shows the status of the four cartridges.

Solved my own problem.

After multiple reboots, removing and reinstalling the printers, restarting the the router, and resetting the network switches, I moved on to another task that was needed. I had Kaspersky Total Security installed and needed to change to UltraAV which they were offering for the remainder of my subscription. Once I shutdown Kaspersky, all print jobs stuck in the printer queues printed.

My best guess is that Kaspersky tried to install the UltraAV while I was out of town for two weeks and something went wrong, probably with the firewall, and that blocked the printing from Windows. Since the iPhone printing accessed the local network via WIFI, it was not blocked by Windows and printed fine.
