Hi @LL1702,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?
Try all the steps from this document and see if that helps.

Try updating the firmware. Click here
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

This is really maddening. I had already received those documents from a support person at HP. They do not work for my issue; I'm not even sure there IS a WPS button on my new router. It certainly isn't marked as such.
The fact that the HP support person wanted to charge me $19.99 to evaluate the problem is offensive. I chose the free emails instead, which are useless.
AS for updating firmware--how can I do that when I can't connect to the internet???
I have gone around and around with virtual online help, phone support, and now this forum--all the solutions are the same and none of them have worked. That's just disgraceful. All I want to do is change my printer's network connection, and it seems to be impossible.
My likely next step: give the printer away and buy a new one from any other company BUT HP. This is a needless expense but I don't seem to have a choice.
