Product: HP Envy 5542
Operating System: iOS

This printer worked fine until today and now it no longer shows up when I try to print.

 

“No AirPrint Printers Found” is the error I get 

 

  • Verified my iPad and printer were connected to the same network
  • Restarted printer and iPad 
  • Unplugged printer and left unplugged for a bit
  • Reset the network on printer 
  • Reset the router 
  • Tried from my iPhone and Mac - Also get the same error. 

What else can I do?

Has nothing to do with the firewall but thanks for the suggestion. 

 

About to chuck it and go with another brand that actually works.

Check your router's firewall (or software firewall on your Mac) and let AirPrint through it using ports 9100, 139, 515, 631, 5393. Set your printer's IP address to FIXED or STATIC. Refer to your printer's manual for how-to's for your particular printer model.
