OfficeJet Pro 8720 won't print from android phone with HP software.

What is your phone ? Please use Google Play to install HP Smart app then use it to print.

 

For Samsung phone, please use Samsung Print Service Plugin to print. I tested it on my Canon, Epson and few other printers from my family members and it works perfectly. Sorry I used to get a loan HP printer yearly but they stopped now therefore I could not test on HP printer. Hope they allow (due to Covid-19) me to go around more I should be able to find one.

I have s20 ultra. It appears for some reason it has to be saved in Google drive and then it works. If that option doesn't come up it won't print. Also it says the Google drive option is going away soon. I am running android 11 that's not on supported software. Somebody said  Samsung print sees printer but Hp does not. I have HP printer plug in and HP smart both.
