Thanks for the feedback. It's great to be a part of an interactive community. 

 

I've had the Officejet 8015e All-In-One for some time now. It seems the software that I had was the problem in interfacing with the Officejet was the problem for me. I have three computers in the house and therefore need to access the printer/scanner from all three. My problem was I could not all of a sudden connect to the printer after trying to use a computer from upstairs that was not used often to print. What I did was erased all of the HP software from all computers and downloaded new software (went to HP, but it came from Microsoft instead of HP). The new software, HP Smart, works on all computers now.
