Hi @Keshia21,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you may be enrolled in HP's Instant Ink program. With Instant Ink, HP charges a subscription fee based on the number of pages you print per month, rather than the cost of the ink itself. Here’s how it typically works.
- Monthly Plans: HP Instant Ink offers several plans based on page counts, such as 10, 50, or 100 pages per month. You’re billed each month according to your plan, regardless of whether you print a single page or the full page allowance.
- Overage Fees: If you print more pages than your plan allows, additional fees apply for extra pages.
- Automatic Ink Delivery: The subscription covers ink costs and delivery, as HP sends new cartridges as needed.
If you'd prefer not to be charged per page, you can cancel the subscription and purchase ink cartridges as needed instead. You can manage or cancel your Instant Ink subscription through your HP account.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
