I was working with a tech support agent to help resolve why my computer would not connect to the wireless router. After he told me to reboot printer and press down in the lower left-hand corner until the screen says "initializing", my screen flashed "white" and then died. It remains blank and only comes on but no display on the screen. Any suggestions? I was simply told that it was a hardware issue and printer needs to be repaired or replaced.

I see that you are facing blank control panel issues with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw.

  

Please download and install the firmware update on the computer connected to the printer from this Link 


You may also refer to this document to know how to update the firmware.
