Hi @Milangal9,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
The ability to print from multiple Wi-Fi networks on a printer like the HP DeskJet 2700 depends on the printer's network configuration and capabilities.
In general, most modern printers, including the DeskJet 2700 series, can only be connected to one Wi-Fi network at a time.
Here's how it typically works:
Initial Setup:
When you first set up the printer, you'll connect it to your home Wi-Fi network or Wi-Fi extender. This involves entering the Wi-Fi network's SSID (name) and password on the printer's control panel or through a setup process using a computer or mobile device.
Single Network Connection: The printer will remember the Wi-Fi network it is connected to, and it will remain connected to that network until you change the network settings.
Network Switching: To switch the printer to another Wi-Fi network (e.g., from home Wi-Fi to Wi-Fi extender), you would typically need to go through the setup process again and enter the new network's SSID and password. This would require temporarily disconnecting it from the current network and connecting it to the new one.
Network Priority: Some printers might allow you to set a priority order for saved Wi-Fi networks. In such cases, the printer will automatically connect to the highest-priority network that is available. However, this feature isn't common on consumer-grade printers like the DeskJet 2700 series.
So, while it's technically possible to switch the printer between different Wi-Fi networks, it's not a seamless process, and you would need to reconfigure the printer each time you want to switch networks. Additionally, the printer will be able to print from devices that are connected to the same network it is currently connected to.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
