Hi @KendraF,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand  your HP DeskJet 3632 All-in-One Printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi despite trying various troubleshooting steps, let's try a few more solutions that may help resolve the issue:

1. Reset Printer’s Network Settings

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time for 5 seconds. This will reset the network settings to default.

2. Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Download and install the latest version of the HP Smart app from HP’s website.
  • Open the HP Smart app and click on the “+” sign to add a printer.
  • Select Set up a new printer, and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is selected.

3. Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is set to 2.4GHz. Many HP printers do not support the 5GHz band.
  • Verify that the SSID (Wi-Fi network name) and password are correct.

4. Move Printer Close to Router

Ensure that your printer is within a reasonable distance from your Wi-Fi router to avoid any signal interference.

5. Disable VPN and Firewalls

  • Temporarily disable any VPN or firewall on your computer, as they might block communication between the printer and the network.

6. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Visit HP Support to check for the latest firmware updates for your printer model.

7. Wi-Fi Direct Setup (Alternative)

If Wi-Fi setup still fails, try using Wi-Fi Direct to connect your devices directly to the printer without needing a router:

  • Enable Wi-Fi Direct on the printer by pressing the Wi-Fi Direct button.
  • On your computer or mobile device, connect to the printer’s Wi-Fi network (HP-Print-xx-DeskJet 3630 series).
  • Use the HP Smart app to print or scan.

8. Use USB Setup (Fallback)

  • If all else fails, try setting up the printer using a USB cable connection, and then switch to wireless during the setup process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
