Product: Envy 7640
Operating System: Linux

I have an Envy 7640 printer on LAN.  Printing and scanning work.  I would like to set up an SD card on the printer as a samba share, but no luck.  I don't find any mention of samba in the embedded configuration server.   Is this possible?  Thanks! 

OS Fatdog903, Linux kernel 6.10.2

~:# mount -t cifs //192.168.63.46/MEMORY_CARD -o username=guest,vers=1.0 /mnt/sb
mount error(13): Permission denied

samba share configured with no password, but I also tried with password.

You're doing everything right by trying to mount //192.168.63.46/MEMORY_CARD using CIFS, but unfortunately, the HP Envy 7640 does not support sharing the SD card or USB storage over SMB/CIFS/Samba.
