Hi @Rosekran

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for explaining the situation. I understand how frustrating it is when your printer suddenly stops responding to print commands—especially when scanning still works, which makes the issue feel even more puzzling.

Let’s walk through a few steps to help restore your printing functionality:

1. Restart Devices and Network

  • Power off your printer, computer, and wireless router.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then turn them back on—router first, then printer, then PC.
  • This refreshes network assignments and clears temporary glitches.

2.  Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool (Windows)

  • In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
You can also access this tool on HP’s support page if needed.

3. Reinstall the Printer Driver

  • Go to HP’s Software and Driver Downloads.
  • Download the Full Feature Software and Driver for Windows 11.
  • Uninstall the existing printer software from your PC, then reinstall using the freshly downloaded package.

4. Check Printer Status in Windows

  • Open SettingsDevicesPrinters & Scanners
  • Select your printer → Open queue
  • If the printer is listed as “Offline” or “Paused,” right-click and clear those statuses.

5. Verify Network Connection

  • On the printer’s control panel, tap the Wireless icon.
  • Confirm it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
  • If needed, run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer’s settings to reconnect.

6. Assign a Static IP (Optional but Helpful)

  • On the printer’s control panel, find the IP address under Wireless Settings.
  • Enter that IP in your browser to access the Embedded Web Server.
  • Set a Manual IP to prevent future network drops.

Just let me know what you've tried so far and any error messages you've seen. You're not alone in this—let’s get your printer back to full functionality.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
