HP DeskJet 3762 All-in-One Printer

Hoping someone can help me before there's a printer-shaped hole through the window...

We had a three week wifi outage (which was hard enough!) And our Deskjet 3762 had been working fine before, but I cannot get it to reconnect to the new wifi, seemingly, whatever I do.

I have the HP Smart app but it's been nearly a week now of going through all the (circles) recommendations it gives, but no luck. I cant get it to show up on the printer lists, occasionally it will show on for the temporary wifi network but I cannot get past that page.

The printer is still listed in my account as we have the automatic ink cartridge service, but it lists it as disconnected. I click to reconnect and it ships me back to square one where the printer isnt listed etc etc etc

I'm at my last resort and I considered myself pretty good in this area. Any help gratefully gratefully received.

Hi @Cabey6620,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I see that you are facing issues with connecting your HP Deskjet 3762 All-In-One Printer to your wi-fi network.

Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to its network defaults and then reconnect it to the network.

Step 1: Restore the printer to its network defaults.
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button (X) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the network:
1. Press and hold the wireless button on the printer for more than least three seconds to start the WPS Push Button method.
2. Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: The product begins a timer for approximately two minutes while a wireless connection is established. If the printer connects successfully, the light next to the Wireless button glows steady blue.

! Keep me posted for further assistance.
