Deskjet 2652
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have used this printer before with no problem. Plugged it in and it wouldn’t go online. Went through the HP troubleshooting; nothing helped. The last suggestion was to delete the printer and add it again. I deleted it. When I try to add it I get a msg saying I’m connected to a 5.0 GHz WiFi network, printer can only be connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. I really needed to print a couple docs, so I tried WiFi Direct, but I can’t read the current WiFi Direct PIN code because of poor print quality (which I was going to work on after getting connected). What the heck happened? I am using the same WiFi as ever, same computer, same printer. I’m totally hosed. Please help.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting connectivity issues, I am glad to assist you.

Yes, this printer only supports 2.4GHz bandwidth.

Make sure you set the router bandwidth to 2.4GHz, then try to connect the printer and the computer to the same router.

Follow the steps mentioned in page number 63  in this user guide to connecting the printer:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
