HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w Printer

We have a new WIFI password and I cannot get my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w printer to connect. I don't have a USB cord or a WPS button so I'm trying to use the HP Smart app. It finds my printer, but when I try to select it, it says printer is off and needs to be turned on first. Printer is plugged in, on, and wifi symbol is flashing. I've also tried HP Easy Start and it won't find my printer at all.

@coco121, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

As this model printer does not have a touch screen display, you will need the WPS button on the router or the USB cable to connect the printer to the wireless network.

You may connect the printer and the computer via Wifi-Direct and then convert it to wireless.

Follow the steps mentioned in this document - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

Note: There will be no internet connection on the computer while using this option.

Once connected, use a web browser(chrome), enter 192.168.223.1 on the address bar. Go to the printer EWS page and go to Wireless setup.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
